Rabble Hospitality Group, the team behind Assembly (The People’s Pub) and Corella Restaurant & Bar, are thrilled to introduce our next venture. The Alinga Street Project is set to revitalise the heart of Canberra with the transformation of Canberra's iconic Sydney Building. The corner location, formerly home to Pancake Parlour, has lain dormant for years and is now poised for an exciting makeover with three distinctive hospitality concepts.  

While we're keeping some details under wraps, here is a sneak peek into what's in store…

Within the trio of offerings, the ground floor space will take centre stage. Bada Bing Dining Club, a spacious split-level Italian Restaurant, boasting a nostalgic and warm fit-out, a prominent bar area, and a versatile private dining room. 

 Next, Al’s Deli, a sandwich joint expected to transform week-day lunch and make a day in the office seem more appealing than WFH. With a huge focus on quality ingredients, this space will be serving up made-to-order deliciousness as well a quick premade sambo to go. 

The final reveal will be far from conventional. Fun Time Pony, a dive bar set to bring big-name bands to Canberra. This subterranean hideaway relies on audacious finishes to create an immersive atmosphere. The vibe here is dark, grungy, and untamed.
