With a strong background in venue management and business development, Wes has been instrumental in shaping the group’s growth since the opening of Assembly in 2019.

    Wes has a knack for spotting opportunities and bringing ambitious concepts to life. His leadership blends strategic vision with an approachable, hands-on style that keeps him closely connected to the day-to-day rhythm of each venue. From the refined, modern dining of Corella to the high-energy atmosphere of Fun Time Pony and the casual comfort of Al’s Deli, Wes drives innovation while ensuring every venue reflects Rabble’s ethos of creating spaces that are vibrant, welcoming and commercially successful.

    Creative Director

    Tom Phelan combines creative vision with strategic insight as Creative Director for Rabble Group, shaping the visual identity and marketing direction for a portfolio of high-volume hospitality venues. He drives bold, consistent campaigns that not only capture attention but also strengthen Rabble’s position at the heart of Canberra’s hospitality scene.

    With a foundation in design and a deep understanding of how branding drives growth, Tom translates big ideas into creative campaigns that connect with audiences and deliver results. After launching Ohboi Creative Company, where he developed branding and marketing for hospitality and retail businesses, Tom joined Rabble to bring that expertise in-house. He remains hands-on in every project, from developing strategy and designing visuals to directing photography and content, ensuring each venue tells its story with clarity and style.

  • Brendan Guy

    Executive Chef

    Brendan Guy is the Executive Chef of Rabble Group, overseeing culinary operations across all venues and driving the creative direction of their food programs. With decades of experience across the industry, Brendan has worked every station in the kitchen, from his early days in fast food to fine dining at Canberra’s acclaimed Ottoman Cuisine and as sous chef at Pomegranate.

    Brendan brings a rare mix of creativity, consistency and leadership to Rabble’s kitchens. His menus balance bold flavours with a focus on quality and simplicity, perfectly tailored to the unique character of each venue. Having previously owned and operated multiple cafes, Brendan combines sharp business insight with hands-on expertise, making him as comfortable in the kitchen as he is leading teams. Known for his approachable nature and sharp sense of humour, Brendan fosters a collaborative, upbeat environment, ensuring every kitchen in the group runs with precision, creativity and a shared passion for great food.

    Operations Coordinator

    Yolande “Yoli” Styles has worn many hats at Rabble Group, from managing Assembly to leading the team at Bada Bing Dining Club. Now in her role as Operations Coordinator, Yoli keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes, supporting venues and the office team with her trademark energy and efficiency.

    Social Media Coordinator

    Claire McCutcheon is the Marketing Coordinator for Rabble Group, managing social content across all venues and bringing a fresh, creative energy to the team. A recent graduate, Claire is passionate about finding new ways to engage audiences and showcase each venue’s unique personality. When she’s not creating content, you’ll find her at Corella with a whiskey sour in hand.
