A passionate, experienced Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen and deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help lead the kitchen through preparation and service while maintaining Assembly's high standards for quality, consistency and presentation.
About the role
- Supporting menu preparation and execution
- Leading the kitchen team during service
- Overseeing daily prep and maintaining quality standards
- Mentoring and developing junior chefs
- Coordinating stock control, ordering and kitchen efficiency
- Maintaining food-safety, cleanliness and compliance standards
- Contributing ideas to seasonal, produce-driven menus
About you
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role within a similar venue
- A genuine passion for seasonal, produce-driven cooking
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Confident leadership and communication skills
- The ability to mentor, motivate and support a kitchen team
- Experience with ordering, stock control and cost management
- Full-time availability, including nights and weekends
- Full Australian working rights
