Function FAQs
Is there a venue hire fee?
On most spaces there's no venue hire, just a minimum spend on food and drinks. We'll confirm the minimum for your chosen space and date when you enquire.
How many guests can you cater for?
Anything from an intimate dinner of around ten through to a full-venue takeover of 290+. Each space lists its capacity: for example Assembly's beer garden holds up to 150 and the Pony Pit at Fun Time Pony up to 290.
What kinds of events do you host?
Birthdays, work functions, end-of-year parties, weddings and engagements, long lunches, group bookings and wakes, across pubs, bars, restaurants and a hidden cocktail speakeasy.
Can you handle menus and dietary requirements?
Yes. We do menus for stand-up, sit-down and everything in between, and cater to dietary requirements, just tell us what you need in your enquiry.
Can you organise AV, music or a live band?
AV, music and run sheets are handled by our events team. Depending on the venue we can sort a playlist, a DJ or a live band.
Which venues can I book for a function?
All eight Rabble venues across Canberra and Burleigh: Assembly, Corella, Fun Time Pony, Parlour of Dreams, Al's Deli & Diner, Burgermaker, Hill Station and Local Burleigh.
